The narrator is something to get used to read in French, the use of “tu” really threw me off. The book lies on a good idea the five different wounds but it’s diluted in a kind of Cosmo like rhetoric, some of these ideas are so over the top and frankly ridiculous, I was mad I decided to spend money to read this. Repetitive in a good way giving you a good insight.
Great first book for anyone looking forward to realise his childhood fragments in his adult character and be aware of why he is what he is. This book didn’t convince me, and it was next to useless to me – irking me for the wasted time.
I’m sure the author is sincere, and she believes what she wrote. I find this viewpoint naive and misleading: Her “five wounds” system has merits, though, This book didn’t convince me, and it was next to useless to me – irking me for the wasted time.
Her “five wounds” system ilse merits, though, and is psychologically sound enough. However, I didn’t find much about me in it, so I didn’t nlessures any benefit.
It might be because her system is not a good fit for my psyche, or because I already worked bourbeeau my wounds enough to release most of my conflicts. Or, I’m in denial and I can’t allow myself to see myself in it.
It might be useful for other people, though. But my advice is to take your time to understand what it is and what it says, before investing your money and lize in it.
Books by Lise Bourbeau (Author of Les 5 Blessures qui empêchent d’être soi-même)
Da leggere in momenti di crisi. Sep 19, Sandra rated it it was amazing.
This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. Dec blesssures, Maylyn Pruvt rated it liked it.
I like this book for nlessures insights and new blewsures. However, I must say it might get very painful to read once you are reading vlessures about your own wounds and the wound of the others. When I read about the description: The person who has the betrayal wound is a manipulator and a liar I had hard time not to vomit.
Oct 15, Tisha rated it did not like it. I found many useful ideas on this book that really helped me to see myself from a different angle. And I just put aside all the “new-age” content of the book so it won’t bothered me. Our souls choose the wounds and the trials to deal with them. Gives a great lize of each wound.
